Publishing Learning Collaboratives
ICUDDR partners with the International Society of Addiction Journal Editors (ISAJE) in providing training and technical assistance in developing skills in writing for peer reviewed journals.
These joint activities include learning collaboratives for university faculty where an expert facilitator who is a journal editor provides brief didactic presentations and participants share their work so that the facilitator(s) and other participants can provide editing and content feedback.
These learning collaboratives are offered to faculty and graduate students that would like to improve their publishing skills, and have resulted in a high rate of accepted publications in peer review journals.
ICUDDR and ISAJE also offer a learning collaborative for more experienced faculty who want to include content about improving writing skills as part of their curriculum.
These learning collaboratives use a similar process, but with a focus on translating content from the ISAJE Publishing Addiction Science manual into classroom instruction.
