ICUDDR Launches New Website
Published by Kim Johnson on 28.01.2020
Welcome to our new website! We moved our site onto a different platform so that we could integrate several databases that will make our website more dynamic. The databases include a searchable list of all the addiction studies program in the world. If we have left you out, let me know and we can add your program to the list.
Our second database is our events calendar. We are scraping events from other sites that might be useful to university administrators and faculty who teach about substance use and its related problems. If you have an event that you would like to publish, send us an email and we will add it to the calendar!
Finally, we are developing a resource library for items to help faculty improve their courses or to develop addiction or prevention studies programs. This catalogue needs a lot more items! We are looking for syllabi, course descriptions, links to videos or other online media. Really, anything that you have found to be useful in building your courses. We particularly need resources in languages other than English. So, let us know what you have to offer. Anything that you can share or want to have posted to our website can be sent to info@icuddr.com.
Finally, check out the new discussion forums. In these forums you can post interesting information related to your education programs, ask questions of other faculty and researchers and make connections with others that share your interests. We monitor the discussions every day, so if you have a question that doesn’t get answered right away, we will seek out an expert to reply.
We hope you like these new features of the website and that you will contribute so that we can all benefit from sharing our collective wisdom!
